Minotaurs update

Pictures are bad (I really must get another day lamp bulb) but here are a few update pics of my fledgling Minotaurs.

I pretty much spent the whole weekend on these guys. Managed to almost finish the 5 man tac squad and the assault squad. I even got the wife to help!

Also base coated my 2 razorbacks. And 'Big Dave'

Blue OSL eyes

So I want to do blue 'glowing' OSL style eyes on my Minotaurs. Kinda like whats been done on this necron below.

So, how does a novice like me do it??

Base coat

Base coat ans wash is all I really managed over the weekend as I was distracted magnetising Moloc's arms and weapons.

My 8 man assault unit and the first 5 tactical marines have their brass scorpion base layer and first wash of Agrax Earthshade wash.

The first Baal Predator has been based with Khorne red and again washed with Agrax Earthshade.

Executioner

Almost finished my Predator Executioner.

All I have to do now is green stuff the back rear part of the turret and fill the Coppola housing. But I'm happy with the results so far

By request the heads of my chaos chosen. Pictures not great as the light was rubbish and reflecting off the metal.

Armoured support

Have been working on the armoured units of my Minotaurs this weekend and have managed to build 2 razorbacks with fully magnetised Baal turrets.

I've also nearly finished my Predator Executioner. Turret almost finished but ill have to raise the cupola as the barrel (taken from a Leman Russ Demolisher) is too fat for the predator fitting.

I've also magnetised the sponsons so I can swap between lascannons, as shown, or heavy bolters.

I'd like to have these finished and base coated before Christmas. I think I'm going to need some more Khorne Red.
